What are “Connect Groups”?

I’m glad you asked.

Connect Groups are like Life Groups except instead of the same people meeting regularly, you meet with different people every time. 

You sign up to either lead/host or attend—as often or infrequently as you like—leave your email (or cell # if you prefer) so I can contact you, and I do some matchmaking and put together 10 people to meet for study, or conversation, or food (or all three!). 

Unlike Life Groups, every meeting is with a new group of people. 

The fun (and the challenge) of Connect Groups is that you don’t choose who you meet with. You might be forced to hang with someone you’d never choose to hang with, and that’s good. It’s good for us as Christians and members of the Wainfleet BIC Church family to step out of our comfortable friend and family bubbles now and then and rub shoulders (not literally…) with other brothers and sisters we wouldn’t normally connect with. We all have something to learn from and offer one another, and who knows, maybe you’ll make some new friends! At the very least, you’ll get to meet some of those strangers from the other side of the sanctuary…
